After a 100 round break-in period, with frequent barrel cleanings, the best accuracy this gun produced was approximately 3" groups at 50 yards. I returned it to Ruger for repair and after three months they returned it with no charge, no explanation of what the problem was or explanation of what they did in the way of repairs. However, on my first outing with generic reloads I obtained 1/2 minute of angle five shot groups at 100 yards. It was a basket case out of the box, BUT when given a second chance, Ruger got it right...
