Testimonials from our Customers
Ruger American Pistol 8615, 45 ACP, 4.5 in, Black Synthetic Grip, Black Nitride Finish, 10 Rd
I wasn't using my Sig 1911 much so I sold it, but still wanted a .45 acp handgun. When this Ruger American came out, it did so with the usual industry hype. I found the price point appealing and also found it better looking than some plastic pistols, so I thought I'd take a chance on it knowing Ruger makes solid weapons. I wasn't too optimistic even when it arrived though it felt very nice in hand. One trip to the range changed everything for me however; not only did it feel good but it is a remarkably soft shooter, actually very pleasant. I didn't want to put to down (and didn't). Long story short, expensive gun not used for a relatively inexpensive gun that I can't stop shooting (until I ran out of ammo). We'll see how it holds up though, from what I've read, it's rated for +P extended use and purportedly would meet the new military standards. I'd surmise a lot of thought went into it during development so that an ordinary gun owner would embrace it so easily, like I have. I've owned too many handguns over the years not to have some perspective. I think Ruger has an exceptional product here (assuming the same Ruger high standards of mfg.) and if the general population of gun owners feels the way I do, it'll be a runaway success. - BZ

Ruger Single Six NR6 Revolver 0626, 22 LR / 22 WMR, 6 1/2 in, Rosewood Grip, Stainless Finish, 6 Rd, Adj Sights
Excellent sixgun. This 6 1/2" barrel is the perfect size for plinking or informal target shooting. I like the new laminated rosewood grips better than the old solid rosewood. The new grips are slimmer, brighter, and more durable. They also have a steel spacer between them for durability. I tested mine with CCI 40 grain Velocitors and it grouped 2 1/2" at 50 feet, two-hand hold. A better shot could have done better. I switched cylinders (this is a real gas to do, it's like having two guns) and tried the Winchester 40 grain Hollow Points. They shot about two inches below the 22 long rifle with the same-sized grouping. This is normal. Faster ammo will shoot to a lower point of aim. Build quality is first rate, wood to metal fit is perfect. Ruger still makes them with high quality. Great gun for plinking, hunting, or goofing off. I call it minute of beer can accuracy. Lots of fun. - JOE

Ruger Bisley Vaquero Revolver 5130, 357 Magnum, 5 1/2 in, Simulated Ivory Grip, High Gloss Stainless Finish, 6 Rd
This gun is beautiful, a work of art, I picked it up on thursday, and went right to the range. I fired about 120 357 mag rounds through it, the weapon was perfect, the firing pin was hitting dead center of the rim, I recieved several very nice complements on the weapon, how beautiful it is and what a good deal I got on it. Even my wife liked it and she hates guns. This was the exact gun my hero the lone ranger carried. Thanks Ruger you made an old man very happy. Hi Ho silver away. - MICHAEL

Ruger SR9 Semi-Auto Pistol 3301, 9mm, 4.1 in, Synthetic Grip, Black/Stainless Steel Finish, 17 Rd, Adj Sights, Rail
I've had really good luck with this pistol, not that I ever heard that Ruger was bad. I've had it now for just over 2 years and it has been fantastic. Very slim and sleek for a full size double stack handgun. 17 + 1 capacity is great! Has a rubber reversable backing on the grip to make it a tad larger for those who prefer it, I like it with the slimmer grip myself. The gun shoots right where it's aimed for me and anyone else who I've let shoot it. One guy I let shoot it a bunch has bought his own. I think that for the price this is a real value, I feel it is just as good as the M&P line of pistols from S&W. No malfunctions with this gun with FMJ's or HP's, awesome gun. - DAVE

Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan Revolver 5303, 44 Remington Mag, 2 1/2 in, Hogue Tamer Monogrip, Satin Stainless Finish, 6Rd
Love it! Love it! Shoots great, carry while campping, hiking, fising. Just a fun gun to shoot! - B. C.
