RUGER & COMPANY INC Model SR9 Semi Automatic Pistols Ruger 17 + 1 Stainless 9MM/4.1" Barrel/Adjustable Sights/Rail The Ruger SR9 is perfectly sized to be comfortable and controllable with a
slim, ergonomic grip and narrow slide. Featuring structurally rigid,
recoil-reducing, glass-filled nylon frame and stainless steel slide combine
to create a low-maintenance, rugged and reliable handgun. The SR9 also
includes modern safety features like an internal trigger bar interlock and
striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual loaded
chamber indicator. Also featuring a unique reversible backstrap,
ambidextrous manual safety and magazine release, built in picatinny rail,
and adjustable high-visibility 3-dot sight system.

I've had really good luck with this pistol, not that I ever heard that Ruger was bad. I've had it now for just over 2 years and it has been fantastic. Very slim and sleek for a full size double stack handgun. 17 + 1 capacity is great! Has a rubber reversable backing on the grip to make it a tad larger for those who prefer it, I like it with the slimmer grip myself. The gun shoots right where it's aimed for me and anyone else who I've let shoot it. One guy I let shoot it a bunch has bought his own. I think that for the price this is a real value, I feel it is just as good as the M&P line of pistols from S&W. No malfunctions with this gun with FMJ's or HP's, awesome gun... |

This is my first hand gun and i absolutely enjoy it. Its slim and easy to handle. Although i did have a couple jams within the first 100 rounds, but i think that was due to me not lubing it properly before firing it for the first time... |

I love this pistol. It's slim and compact compared to say a Glock 17. Its a great concealed carry weapon. Easy breakdown, ambidextrous safety lever, mag release and reversible backstrap. So far i have put 2000+ rounds through mine and never jammed once. Would highly recommend this pistol!.. |
