I have to agree with J.R. who posted his comment in March of 09. I just purchased a new Sig 226 Beavertail with .22 caliber and found the same problem. I received 2 magazines with it and want 2 more. The magazines that came with the gun are made of plastic. Foreign countries like CZ are also using plastic to reduce weight.
But I can't see such high prices for a plastic magazine. And if it's metal, I don't want it. I don't think this is Able's fault as they are only passing on what they are charged.
Shame on the manufactures who are ripping off consumers. Next spring I will be up north fishing so I am going to stop at Sig's factory and see if I can negotiate with their sales reps...
