Did a lot of reading before purchase. Many good some negetive, but on close examination at my local shop found the bad reviews where not founded. This gun has a great fit when I throw it up which is really what it is all about. Performs well on the marshes duck hunting as well as on the skeet field. I have a 101 and did not like taking it into the marshes. Now I have the same feeling about this gun, which speaks how much I enjoy this gun. Savage has been a no fril hard working gun and I hope this american design lasts many years!
