Description
CZ-USA Model 85B Semi Automatic Pistol CZ USA 10 + 1 Round 9MM Pistol w/Black Finish & Adjustable Sights The CZ 85 B is the ambidextrous version of the CZ 75. Ambidextrous controls include the safety and slide release. This model includes a firing pin block safety to further enhance the safety of the firearm. The CZ 85 Combat version was created as an extension of the CZ 85 B with some additional features. The CZ 85 Combat features a fully adjustable rear sight, extended magazine release, ambidextrous slide stop and safety catch, drop free magazine and over travel adjustment on the trigger. Greetings fellow shooters,
This gun is a winner. It is EXTREMELY accurate with all types of ammo. It has never jammed, no failures to feed. The adjustable sights have neat green dots for fast target acquisition. They are great sights and are rare in a combat auto. Because it's all steel, recoil is very light. I've shot both Buffalo Bore and Double Tap ammo. The "hot" rounds cycle perfectly without any trouble. I'm convinced that the 4.7 inch barrel helps. Shorter barrels sometimes need different springs for hot verses mild loads. In my ballistics test, the 9mm Buffalo Bore 124 grain, and the Double Tap 147 grain, out-penetrated four kinds of 357 magnum ammo. The size of the opening was exactly the same as the 357 ammo (125 and 158 grain heavy loads). You can't beat this kind of performance. You have 16 lightning quick rounds with superior knock-down power. No other caliber can compete with this performance.
The best thing about the CZ 85 Combat is the trigger. Double action is slick and single action rivals a finely tuned Smith revolver. there's a trigger stop that is pre-set, but that can be changed to suit the shooter's style.
I have 45 autos, 5 S&W revolvers, and a few other handguns. I've shot dozens of different 9mm autos. When I reach for a weapon to stick in my in-the-pants holster, the CZ 85 gets the nod. This one is the best. PERIOD!!!.. |
