Utterly the best semiauto hangun at the price. The 97B combines the most user-friendly features of a 1911 (except, of course, it can also fire double-action--great for a second try on a stubborn primer) with the reliability of a PPK. If you really like a double-action option, but can't stand the cranky trigger pull of a DAO, this is your perfect choice. I've had mine for nearly ten years, now, and I fire mostly round nose 230 grain handloads. It must be admitted that there is a break-in period; you must find your preffered ammo. If you absolutely must use factory ammo, I suggest 200 or 230 grain Magtech as a point of reference. Then try others. Also: this gun ain't light; nor is it particularly compact. Who cares?..
