Description
KEL-TEC CNC INDUSTRIES Model P-3AT Semi Automatic Pistol Kel-Tec 6 + 1 Round Double Action Only 380 ACP w/Parkerized Finish/Gray Grips The P-3AT is a semi-automatic, locked breech pistol. It has been developed from the highly successful P-32 pistol with negligible increase in weight and size. The slidestop has been eliminated and the magazine capacity reduced to 6 rounds due to the larger cartridge. Thanks to its locking dynamics and superior ergonometry, perceived recoil and practical accuracy are comparable to much larger guns. The P-3AT is mainly intended for plainclothes police officers as a secondary weapon, or for concealed carry by licensed citizens. I have owned a P3AT for over 3 years and LOVE it. I also had the failure to eject problem, and after a 1 month trip back to keltec, problem solved! It is not a fun gun to shoot, uncomfortably small and cramped, and accuracy takes time to develop, but it disappears in your back pocket and I wont be caught without it on me. Give it it's proper respect and practice, and don't be afraid to rma if it doesn't work out of the box (keltec has great customer service and will fix a faulty weapon no questions asked) and this little beast will be your edc weapon or at least on the tip of your fingers everytime you leave the house!.. |

I have had my P-3AT for 4 months,I have done alot of sanding on the grip and trigger to start with.The casting lines are sharp and very hard on the hand.The trigger is a joke,narrow and very sharp at the bottom,I purchased a trigger shoe for it,much better.It has a problem with failure to eject,remington ammo is the worst,don't understand why but it is.It is very light and easy to conceal,I carry it in a galco shoulder holster.Unless a woman has alot of experiance with auto loaders it is not a gun they want,the failure to eject is almost a 3 handed afair,the slide does not lock open.Because of its light weight it is a hand full to shoot,you really need to get a grip on it.I like the gun and will continue to carry it,but it does have its problems... |
