After the less than great experience last go round, I am pleased to say, WOW! I spent two hours driving roofing nails at 25yds, and 50 yards. Both scopes are EXCELLENT! Really a buy for the bucks!..

I purchased two of these scopes, one for a model 42 Mossberg 22 LR bolt action rifle and one for a Marlin 785 WMR bolt action. They sure looked nice, appeared to have excellent workmanship. I removed the lens caps and looked through the scopes at a house down the block. NICE NICE. Then I set a target up at 100 feet, (the distance across my lot) 6 hours later I gave up trying to get the adjustments to operate. I used a bushnell bore sighter that slides into the business end of the barrels. Neither adjustment worked at all on one scope, and the other had windage (verticle adjustment) but absolutely no adjustment Left/Right.
I could not at this point in time recommend them for any purpose except as a very expensive club.
We will write another evaluation when I get operational scopes. I can\'t imagine two scopes from the same batch being bad...

Good buy for 43 bucks! If you use Leupold mount & rings, buy the high rings due to its a 50mm objective.....

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SCOPE FOR THE MONEY! IT GATHERS LIGHT WELL IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, DOESN'T FOG UP, AND HAS AN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME PICTURE WHEN SIGHTING IN ON YOUR GAME OF CHOICE. I HAVE SHOT WHITE TAIL, HOGS, AND MANY A PAPER TARGET WITH THIS FINE WELL PRICED SCOPE! I HAVE OWNED LEUPOLD, NIKON, AND TASCO SCOPES IN THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. YET, THE ONE I HAVE AND WILL KEEP ON MY RIFLES OR MUZZLELOADERS IS THIS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SIMMONS. THANKS TO SIMMONS FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PRODUCT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE. I HAVE ONE QUESTION IF THEIR $50 SCOPE IS THIS GOOD, I CANNOT WAIT TO UPGRADE TO THE ANOTHER ONE ON FROM THE FINE SELECTION AT SIMMONS...
