I am a pistol hunter. I have fired the 460XVR of mine with open sites for a year and love it. My vision is fading with my age and use of tri-focals presents a challenge. I have mounted a Variable EER Leupold Scope on it, for hunting and to improve my sight picture with my vision challenges. It is shooting 2 inch groups at 100 yards, with an old Leupold with 1/2 MOA. It may shoot even tighter patterns with a new 1/4 MOA Leupold Scope. Would like to try it some day, but I am very well satisfied with this pistol and its accuracy and lack of felt recoil, even compared to my old Ruger 44 mag Redhawk with stock grips. The grips are fantastic on this revolver. I have been shooting factory Hornady 200 grain SST Ammo and am very satisfied. Will consider the heavier grain Barnes Bullet you advertise, when I do my Elk and Bear Hunting. This load is fine for white tail and mule deer...

I have shot my 460XVR about five different times and love it. It is very accurate with the CorBon 200 grain bullets and a real kick to shoot. I have shot about 150 rounds of this load. I have also shot a bunch of 45 Long Colts and these are a real blast to shoot. They feel like a 32. I load lead using the cowboy powder to reduce recoil. The gun is versitile offering a wide range of loads and three calibers...
