This is my first handgun. I was torn between this and a Glock 19. Can't say anything about how it compairs but this is a FANTASTIC gun. I've put 1000+ rounds through it without a single problem. Great accuracy out of the box. I'm no marksman and I had a 3 inch group at 10 yards. At 50 yards I was consistently hitting a typical sized coffee can (8 out of 17 rounds). I only gave it 4/5 because the holster and the mag holster are cheesey. If you bend over your dumping your gun and both mags. I picked up a Blackhawk holster with a snap for $12 at walmart that works great. I also got a taclight from NcStar that fits great!..
