Received mine as a gift from my bud who hunts with me. Am in love with this hand gun. It will kick the tar out of what ever you hit, is reliable, easy to hand load and will spin a hog around in its tracks, or just plain drop em. Have a number of 44 Rem. mags. They are nice and easy to shoot, but when I go bear hunting the S&W 500 is my back up pistol.
I highly recommend this pistol to anyone who requires the added security of knock down power on what could become dangerous game. It is accurate and powerful, yet easy to shoot. If you can fire a 44 mag then you can handle this one. Smith and Wesson out did themselves this time, love it.
