Description
CCI/SPEER GOLDOT HANDGUN CENTERFIRE AMMUNTION Speer 357 Magnum 135 Grain Hollow Point Short Barrel This ammo is recommended for short barrel guns. A patented process forms the hollow point cavity in two stages. The core is pre-fluted to define the "fault" lines of expansion, controlling final diameter and retained weight. The second process finishes the cavity and controls the rate of expansion. Select, clean burning propellants deliver optimum velocity while ensuring consistent chamber pressures. Non corrosive CCI primers are used for highly sensitive and reliable performance, as well as nickel plated brass cases for smooth feeding and durability. These technical features allow Speer's engineers to fine tune each specific caliber and bullet weight for maximum field performance. SPECIFICATIONS:

After trying numerous commercial 38 +P and 357 self-defense loads, this is the only one that I use in my 11 ounce, 357 Mag S&W 340. Muzzle flash is less that even 38 +P, the 1 7/8\" barrel is able to stabilize the bullet at the slower 1,000 fps, recoil is controllable (barely) and accuracy is consistently POA at 21 feet... |

If you are looking for an extremely reliable .357 round for your short barrel firearm, this is what you want. This round is perfect for personal protection as it will penetrate effectively and "knock back" whatever you hit, wherever you hit them. These rounds have alot of kick but do not foul my weapon or cause any issues, even after firing 70 or 80 rounds in a single session. Even with a lightweight weapon, this ammo doesn't negatively affect my shooting accuracy. I use these rounds in my Taurus 650SS2 and would recommend this ammo for any .357 short barrel... |
