I purchased a very similar stainless steel Springfield from a friend whom was in debt, so I got it at a very reasonable price, and it is an excellent firearm. The acccuracy is very good, there are no problems feeding cartridges--even hollow points; whcih, is a problem with many semi-auto pistols--and it is very well made. In other words, the only differences between this pistol and the Colt model, are the Names and the price. I don't think you can go wrong with purchasing this pistol. I would recommend this pistol anytime as long as it hasn't been abused and it is in good tight condition with good riflings. Great Gun! Beverly...
