Purchased the Stoeger X-50 air gun with scope, and this is one great shooting airgun. Grabbed a tin of cheap pellets and went to work on sighting in the scope. Be sure you go over all the mounting screws as they were a little loose. It was shooting to the right, made an adjustment and it was right on. Shot at about fifty yards give or take a few feet. I have rifles that didn`t shoot that good as quickly as this air gun did. And yes the power is there. There was a nice crack with each shot fired. Penetrated an old phone book up to about an inch and a quarter and remember these were just bargain barrel pellets. Should only improve with good grade pellets. Breaking to load isn`t as bad as I had been told, and yes the gun does have some weight to it, but it shoots great. You may or may not do better by spending more money. Able service was great also, just in time for Christmas.
