Have the 9mm and the 45. What an awesome pistol!! Took some doing to find a 10 round mag for the 9mm to NY state laws, but found that anything that fits the Beretta Cougar fits the Stoeger Cougar. Well with search though, wouldn’t' trade either gun and highly recommend them both!!!
As always Able's service was impeccable, order in the morning and was shipped that night, had it in two days... |

Although I'm waiting to be notified that this pistol is "in stock", I have to say that my 2-year experience with the Cougar 8000 in 9mm leaves me no doubt about a sight-unseen purchase of the new .45 ACP model. I want it, and I want it yesterday! Any of these Cougars have to be some of the best deals available.
Being essentially a Beretta product, with all parts interchangeable, the Stoeger should be at the top of the list of anyone looking for great looks, handling and dependability, not to mention affordability. No, I don't work for Stoeger --- but I would if I wasn't already retired.
Buy it. You won't regret it... |
