It\'s a close range survival gun! That\'s what H&R markets it to be, and that\'s what it is. It\'s great out to 25-30 yards...maybe a little more with practice. It\'s light, it\'s compact, it\'s rugged, in nickel it is corrosion resistant, and it is easy to take small game with. It serves it\'s purpose extremely well. If you want a rifle that you can hit at longer range with...H&R has those too.
