I have had one of these since 2003 and it has never failed me. Never jammed up or locked up on me. Love the dual action trigger. Had my local gunsmith take the trigger pull down from factory to 3 1/4 pounds and love it. Didn\'t really like the factory grips thou so I bought pacmayr grips and what a difference. I have put a Simmons scope on it. I have shot many brands of bullets threw it and never had a problem. It is my favorite handgun that I own... |

Bought one brand new in 2003. Fit and finish is good. My only beef with the thing is that when firing it single-action, it will sometimes "lock up" between cylinders, meaning that the cylinder will partway advance to the next round. The trigger will become immobile. The hammer will be back. To clear the weapon is a dangerous exercise. The first time I had this happen to me, I did not know what was happening. I'm trying to figure out how to safely drop the hammer, and the gun fired. I knew enough to keep the muzzle pointed safely away from any bystanders and me, but it was still a shocker to have the gun fire. I think the trouble may lie in the thickness of the rim for the shells used. Can't remember if the brass ones work well or if the nickel-plated ones work well. I look closely and I see a thin sliver of light between one kind of case and even less between the other. I have not fired the gun in a long, long time. I see no reason to use a gun that is not 100% reliable... |
