TAURUS INTERNATIONAL Model PT-111 Millenium Pro Pistols Taurus 12 + 1 Round 9MM Millenium Pro w/3 1/4" Barrel/Blue Finish The Millennium Pro compact polymer frame pistol is the 3rd generation of the Taurus series. Design features include enhanced finger indexing memory pads, posi traction slide serrations, integral magazine base extension and recessed magazine release. I bought this gun a little over a year ago. I have shot at least 1000 rounds through it and haven't had any problem with it. This is the one I always carry on my side. In case anyone is interested in a serpa 2 holster for this, it fits in a serpa 2 made for taurus 24/7 9 mm, since blackhawk does not make one for the pt111... |

I BOUGHT THIS GUN ABOUT A MONTH OR TWO AGO AND HAVE ALREADY PUT ABOUT 1000 ROUNDS DOWN RANGE. THIS IS A GREAT FIRING GUN ONE IN WHICH YOU CAN SHOOT ALL DAY AND NOT NEED HAND SURGERY AFTERWARDS.
I HAVE BEEN PRACTICING OUT TO 21 FEET (7 YRDS) AND THE PT-111 SHOOTS REALLY GOOD, AND WITH A LOT OF PRACTICE WILL PROBABLY SHOOT GREAT EVEN FURTHER.
THIS IS MY FIRST GUN EVER AND I USE THIS AS A CCW NOT TOO MENTION I WOULD USE IT AS A BACK UP AS WELL. AS A 44 YEAR OLD LATE IN LIFE SHOOTER WITH MEDIUM TO SMALL HANDS THIS IS THE PERFECT WEAPON. I WOULDN\'T USE ANYTHING SMALLER AS THIS IS THE SMALLEST I WOULD EVER GO.
AS FOR FIELD STRIPPING THE GUN, IT\'S EASY. CLEANING IS VERY EASY AS WELL. BEFORE FIRING RUN SOME SWABS THROUGH THE BARREL AND SHOOT TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT.
I AM BUYING ANOTHER FOR MY WIFE AND ANOTHER FOR ME AS A BACK UP... |

I just bought one of these last week and have only shot about 50 rounds. I would advise you to field strip it and clean it prior to shooting the first time. It appears Taurus puts some pretty sticky protectant throughout the gun. I went to youtube to lean how to strip it and did it right in the shop before I went to the range to shoot it. I really like it. This pistol replaces a S&W 4516 SS and I think it will be great for CC. It is not a long distance target pistol. It is for consealed carry and if that is what you are looking for , this is a good choice... |
