TAURUS INTERNATIONAL Model PT-145 Millenium Pro Pistols Taurus 10 + 1 Round 45 ACP Millenium Pro w/3.25" Barrel/Stainless Finish Constructed with a hammer forged slide and an injection molded polymer frame, Taurus' Millennium Pro PT145 is a pocket size, extremely lightweight double action only autoloader in .45 ACP that weighs a mere 22.6 ounces. It joins Taurus' family of ultra compact personal defense Millennium autoloaders. The Model PT145 features a 10 round magazine capacity for 10+1 firepower, but the most central feature of the gun is its rugged recoil operated action instead of the simple blowback mechanisms found on many other pocket size pistols. Carry it 24/7, (No pun intended Taurus!) 10+1 45 ACP make it heavy but to prevent some perp messing up my day it's OK by me. I get a pocket holster with the no-slip-band for my concealed carry and put them between me and my Calvins, works great oh people of 360 awareness. All joking aside this thing does what it says it does, I am quite happy to be on the back side of my PT 145. For an old retired Airborne Ranger dropped God knows where I wish I had one of these tucked in my ankle loop. Oh and one other thing, the guarantee is the lifetime of the weapon and with this you might live long enough to collect on it. Defend the Republic! I got three 50rd boxes of 45acp FMJ made Tula Cartridge Works in Tula, Russia. Target only of course. The pistol burped a few times, I expected that with this stuff. The +P rounds work every time. Accuracy? Much better than expected with a 3" barrel. At 20 feet two in the chest were easy, the neck shots were a bit harder. So remember to put them all in the chest, it is after all a 45!
Train hard today to live tomorrow. Defend those that believe in the Republic. Find others like you near home and attend community meetings and be heard, (Leave the weapon in the car) Remember the patriots that gave some and those that gave it all. Be American! Bill.. |
