Before I purchased the Tikka T3 I really did not know much about it. I had a Howa 1500 in 30-06, and I was fairly happy with it until I got the Tikka. The Tikka is much lighter and the quality is far better than Howa. Both Howa and Tikka are about the same, price wise, but Tikka is far better than Howa in weight, balance and craftmanship...
