Colt produced its first revolving rifle shortly after producing the first Colt Paterson Model pistol. In a similar fashion Remington also turned out revolving rifles. The 1858 Target Carbine not only incorporates most of the features of the original 1858 Remington, but the target sights also make the Uberti 1858 Target Carbine an excellent shooter.
