WINCHESTER AMMUNITION SUPER-X POWER MAX BONDED CENTERFIRE RIFLE AMMO S338ET No matter which Winchester ammunition you choose, when you load up with Winchester, you're getting precision technology, the highest quality components, optimum reliability and superior performance with every shot.
When it comes to whitetail deer, it's important to have ammunition that delivers exception knockdown power as well as improved penetration and a high weight retention. Winchester uses a unique bonding process with their Power Max cartridges. This process takes a copper jacketed bullet and welds lead to it which allows for the improved performance.
In addition to the bonding process, Power Max loads feature a protected hollow point that generates a massive mushroom that expands to twice the original diameter.
