Great gun and great customer service from EAA. Most accurate pistol I have ever shot, I consistently remove the bullseye from my targets. Picky on ammo, really doesn\'t like weak target ammo or cheap underpowered hollowpoints...

Great pistol, very accurate, can't beat the quality for the money. Well built, a bit heavy, but the weight reduces the felt recoil of the .40 to about the kick of a .380, in my opinion. Definately worth buying and carrying...

I ordered this pistol and was sent the longer barrel version with the grey wonder finish and rail (the pic shows a short barrel and shiny finish) I opted to keep it. The workmanship is awesome; well constructed pistol. The fit of the slide is tight, but not restricting the function of the gun. I wanted the shiny polished finish, but the wonder finish is certainly growing on me. The weight absorbs the recoil, to me, the .40 feels like shooting a .380. As far as accuracy goes, I was shooting sub 3" group (of 50 rds; hollowpoints- no issues) at 7 yards.; not too bad for the first firing of the gun. The size is a bit bulky for carry, but when the "shiny" finish .40 comes in stock, I will certainly purchase it as well. The magazine is a 15 capacity mag, But I could only load 9-10 rds at a time. I understand this is a new mag and should work itself in as I shoot, but this is a minor issue, I will add this to my carry list. For the price, for a full steel framed gun, you can't beat the price and get this quality workmanship...

Affordable and massive pistol. Heavy and somewhat bulky.
I owned one for many years. Wonder finish was wonderful. Witness is pretty well made, however, there are some idiosyncratic problems with it. It is picky on ammo. Really picky.
Additionally, the trigger feel has a springy take-up prior to normal take-up. It is a rather weird trigger experience. You can get used to it, but it is not like any other trigger I have experienced.
I sold it in order to get a Ruger P90. Eventually I discovered the Springfield XD compact 45, which has assumed the summit of my pistol collection.
The Witness? Too big to carry, Too weird to like. Wonderful Wonder finish...

Probably the most accurate pistol, right out of the box, that I have ever shot. Great feel and balance. I have put probably 500 rounds in it without any problems, and would not hesitate to recommend this gun to anyone...
