The New Citori 725 -- Become one with the gun.
The New Citori 725 is the evolution of John M. Browning's legendary B25 Superposed, now with the modern performance advantage of a low-profile receiver. The new 725 receiver is significantly lower than other citori 12 gauge receivers, yet the 725 shares the renowned durability of generations of Citori over and unders with the same rugged full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design. with a 725, you get the "one with the gun" feeling you want, with the long lasting durability you expect from a Browning over and under. And the features don't stop there. The 725 showcases an all-new mechanical trigger (FireLite) that offers unmatched feel and lighter pull weights than ever before. Inflex Technology has also been added to make shooting more comfortable. Experience the benefits these improvements can do for your shooting with a new Citori 725, only from The Best There Is®.
The Best Target Shotgun Ever Built
Many over and under shooters prefer a low profile receiver. The lower profile moves the shotgun down and into the body for improved recoil control and reduced muzzle jump for faster follow up shots. There is also that "one with the gun" feeling, the sensation that the shotgun is an extension of your body that just feel natural and inspires confidence. The new Citori 725 delivers all this without compromising the legendary durability that Browning shotguns are known for. Unlike other low profile guns that rely on undersized trunnions and narrow, tapered pins to lock up their receivers, the 725 still has the rugged full-width hinge pin and transverse mounted locking bolt design of the original Citori. That means the 725 is built strong enough to compete year after year and round after round of breaking clay targets. While this kind of use will wear out lesser low profile over and unders, it simply wears a Citori in. If that isn't enough, the new Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger delivers a smooth pull with a light, 3-3 1/2 lb. squeeze. Inflex Technology recoil control keeps you shooting all day with none of the beat down feeling you can get with lesser recoil pads. With all the strength of the legendary Citori, plus all the performance and recoil absorbing advantages of a lower profile, the 725 is the total performance package that will have your competition running scared.
Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger
The exclusive new Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger is a big part of the Citori 725's performance package. Unlike an inertia trigger, Fire Lite does not rely on recoil to set the next shot, instead, you get immediate second shot capability. The innovative design features reduced take up, a crisp break and shorter overtravel. As for pull weights, how about 3-3 1/2 lbs. for Sporting guns and 4-4 1/2 lbs. for Field models!
Ergo Balanced The new low profile receiver makes the Citori 725 feel incredibly balanced in your hands, and gives you the one with the gun feeling you want. Put a 725 to the real test by picking one up. The 725 feels light and swings fast. The grip is comfortable, and the forearm is narrow and sleek to place your front hand closer to the bore line for superior hand-eye coordination and pointability.
Invector-DS™ Choke System
Better patterning, lighter weight and a sleeker barrel profile are all reasons to check out the new Invector-DS (Double Seal) interchangeable choke tube system. The combination of muzzle-end threads and thin-wall construction allowed Browning to design a longer, more gradually tapered choke tube that results in more evenly scaled patterns. From cylinder to extra full, patterns tighten consistently in reliable steps. The longer choke taper also produces extremely consistent dense shot patterns. The flare at the end of the barrel that accommodates the choke tube is also greatly reduced for improved shotgun appearance; and a slightly lighter overall barrel weight is achieved for faster swinging and improved balance. Invector-DS choke tubes have been tested and proven to reduce shot deformation for fewer flyers and gaps in the pattern. The more gradual taper also allows higher shot velocities for hard hitting performance. To prevent gas and fouling from slipping between the barrel and choke tube Browning added a proprietary differential-banded brass seal. This seal compresses against he barrel wall when tightened to keep the choke tube threads clean and make installation and removal easier than any other muzzle thread system.
