I've been reloading since 1971. But not for this SAKO A-7 I bought a couple years ago. I find the Barnes TSX 150 gr very accurate in this rifle. It has a 1:11 SS barrel and shoots this ammo very consistently at .5 to .75 inch at 100 yes - over the last three years. Would recommend giving it a try in other rifles. - PAUL
I have used both Federal and Hornady 168gr BTHP ammunition with my 308WIN TIKKA T3 LITE, and regularly achieve sub-MOA groups with both, but the axtra cost of the Federal ammunition is just a waste when the Hornady works as well for so much less. - M. R.
I shoot this ammo out of a Remington Model 700 SPS Varmit 308 WIN and can get 1/2 inch groups at 300 yards. The only match ammo I will ever shoot. It's not recomended for hunting, but I have killed a few whitetails out to 800 yards and it gave good results. - K. B.
