Buffalo Bore seems to make high quality and accurate ammunition. They also step up and keep ammo available when other manufacturers simply will not invest in more production. I can find Buffalo Bore ammo for the calibers I shoot when it is often not available from others. I like the 100 grain .327 Federal Mag rounds that Buffalo Bore makes. And Able's carries it in stock, along with a great deal of other important gear. I highly recommend Buffalo Bore and I highly recommend Able's! - MICHAEL
Last year at deer camp, The Sunday before opening day i dropped my -06 and busted the scope. A buddy brought his CVA Scout V2 in 35 whelen with a Konus pro scope and let me use it for the hunt. I set a target at 100 yards and shooting off a table without a quality rest, I was able to hold about 1.75" group, plenty good enough for me and I think this group could be shrunk with a decent rest. , Opening morning a healthy 6 point came in around 75 yards. I put the bullet just behind the shoulder and it exited the off side about 8" behind the shoulder..The buck stood there for about 4 seconds and fell over dead. Entrance was caliber size, exit about 3/4" massive internal damage..The next day, thanks to "earn a buck" I had to take a doe before taking a second buck..A group of 4 doe came in and I picked the biggest one out of the group and shot at her when she was around 40 yards..She dropped and never twitched..Upon skinning the two deer I found they both had some pretty substantial bruising and blood shot in the ribs, I never recovered a bullet, But I didn't see any evidence of fragmentation inside the animals, so the bullet held together at the short distances and expanded well..I will be curious to see what this round will do with a quality rest and a better scope. I think it's more than is needed for whitetail but it will take them, and much larger game, down quickly and cleanly. - HOWARD
This is a great round for my S&W 360PD. It does have pretty good recoil but it also has good power! I bought a .357 Mag. pistol to shoot .357 Mag shells, not 38+P. I've had NO crimp jumping with this round! This is a round that will ALWAYS work in my gun and get the job done! - TIMOTHY
