My stainless el patron is all that i hoped for. The only exception is the pull is harder than what i hoped and also the creep is noticeable. Both these are to be expected for safety from a commercial gun. The bullets hit straight and maybe 2inches high.
People might complain that stainless isnt true to the times, but i bet the old timers would have loved it
The grips feel like they stick in the hand. I LOVE THIS PISTOL. Oh and the timing! C-O-lt - LARRY
Great semi-auto .22. Unlike other .22 semi-autos, this beast flawlessly cycles every type of ammo it is fed. Yes, it is a bit spendy, but its reliability, accuracy, and beauty well make up for that. Buy this pistol. You will not be disappointed. - DEAN
I don't own this one yet but I do own the SW22 in stainless, and it is one of the finest shooting 22 pistols that I own. it is accurate and the weight of the pistol is perfect...love it..that Is why I want this one in Kryptec -
Excellent sixgun. This 6 1/2" barrel is the perfect size for plinking or informal target shooting. I like the new laminated rosewood grips better than the old solid rosewood. The new grips are slimmer, brighter, and more durable. They also have a steel spacer between them for durability. I tested mine with CCI 40 grain Velocitors and it grouped 2 1/2" at 50 feet, two-hand hold. A better shot could have done better. I switched cylinders (this is a real gas to do, it's like having two guns) and tried the Winchester 40 grain Hollow Points. They shot about two inches below the 22 long rifle with the same-sized grouping. This is normal. Faster ammo will shoot to a lower point of aim. Build quality is first rate, wood to metal fit is perfect. Ruger still makes them with high quality. Great gun for plinking, hunting, or goofing off. I call it minute of beer can accuracy. Lots of fun. - JOE
