4 of 5 Stars!
I normally shoot high end match ammo but I decided to give this inexpensive ammo a try. While it is not as good as Federal Match, primarily because it has much larger variations in muzzle velocity, it shoots very well out of my target lr 308 (at 100 yards anyway). At 100 yards I got groups that were only a few tenths bigger than the Federal 168 grain match ammo, at a much lower price. This ammo did beat several other much more expensive types that cost as much as double what the American Eagle cost. I have a sneaking suspicion that this ammo is nearly the same formula as the Federal match ammo...

My M1A loves this stuff!! Best ammunition I have shot through my M1A Standard to date. Typical results @ 100 yards on a target with a bullseye of 1 1/2\" in diameter are: 12 to 16 rounds are in the bulleyes with a grouping that knocks out a hole of about 1/2 \" in diameter done with around 8/9 to 12 rounds. The balance of the 20 rounds are in the 24 ring (1\" wide) that encircles the bullseye - more than likely my fault and not the ammunition\'s. My M1A is scoped with a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x. These groupings are both accompished using a Caldwell Lead Sled or bipod. I haven\'t shot any Federal Premium Gold Medal 168 grain Sierra Matchking BTMP yet for comparison...

This ammo is designed for the M1A specifically. At 100 yards this ammo gives me groups of .71in. while the much more expensive Federal Classic gives me .052 out of the same M1A Supermatch. Federal makes this to support M1A match shooting, and they have done a really good job for a reasonable price. There\'s no doubt it\'s five star ammo...
