I\'ve owned this rifle for many years.and can\'t say enough about it. My Dad and I have hunted all makes of Brownings over 50 years and I think that says it all. I\'m sure Browning never gets tired of hearing THANK YOU FOR THE YEARS. - C. K.
A real tack driver. Browning did a great job on building this rifle. Great design for its cocking motion. Great job once again Browning. Hunted with your guns all my life and have never been dissapointed. - C. K.
I have had this rifle for a couple months now. Out of the box and the trigger weight adjusted down to about 2 pounds it was shooting 45 grain Winchester JHP\'S at 100 yards at about 3/4\". I am now hand loading for it and have it down to 1/2\" or less at 100 yards using Hornady 50 V-Max Molly coated bullets. I also put a Vortex Viper 6.5x20x44 scope on it along with a Shooters Ridge 6\" to 9\" bipod. This really is a great set up. I have taken 9 Groundhogs so far this season and 8 have been with this rifle. My furtherst shot on one has been 275 yards. While at the range I can hit the 8\" round steel plate at 300 yards 10 out of 10 times easily. I am looking to buy this same rifle in the 308 before summer is up. I had this same rifle in the 243 a few years ago that I could shoot groups at the range at 300 yards that you could cover with a quater. I wish I never sold that one. I think these rifle are great out of the box once you get the trigger adjusted down some they come at about 8 pounds from the factory and makes it very hard to shoot tight groups until you adjust it. The only other thing I would change is the stock. That is next. I hope this helps you if you are thinking of buying one. - D. R.
