Tulammo (from Tula-ammo) Tulammo is ammo from the famous Tula factory in Russia. The Tula Cartridge Works, founded in 1880, is one of the most significant world producers of small-arms ammunition. Unique and exceptional production traditions lasting for more than 125 years. If you are a high volume shooter this is the ammo for you. The cartridge .223 REM is used for sport shooting and hunting through bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles and carbines. The cartridge keeps its qualities under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at a temperature from – 20 to + 50 C. Full Metal Jacket, Boxer primer, Spheroid powder, they are noncorrosive, with smooth-cycling. Steel casing kept breaking when my AR15 tried to pull the shell out causing a jam. Local Gunsmith told me to avoid steel casing when shooting with the AR15.
I had 5 jams in 500 bullets. At one point 3 in a row. I would not recommend this ammo unless it\'s for dirt shooting... |

I am a hunter, a shooter, but I am also a dad. We all know which comes first. I am a safety fanatic. Safety FIRST, ALWAYS!! I have three boys. The oldest is twelve and two ten year olds. They each started shooting when they were very young. First with a 22 to get used to the sound and very slight recoil and as they got bigger I have moved them slowly up to larger calibers. I have a 223 semi automatic rifle that I love to just plink with. At age eight I moved the first one up to the 223 with a scope. He had a blast going threw 100 rounds of amo a day if I let him. Now he is twelve, and his two little brothers are ten. You can imagine how much money I spent on amo for my 223 over the past few years. I was cleaning my gun every Sunday night and it was always really dirty. I found this round about a month ago. It holds half inch groups at 100 yards, and thats with my ten year old shooting. But wait it gets better. I still run a pad down the barrel every weekend, but it is more to lightly oil it that it is to clean it. And because of the price I can let them shot more. No jams what so ever, Accurate, Clean. All and all, I am more than pleased. My 12 year old shoots a 223 wssw, and a 270, but he still takes his rounds shooting the 223 rem. Thank you for making an incredible affordable round that is accurate and clean. This round will build shooting confidence without breaking the bank. When you have young men that love to shoot with dad, this is the perfect round. Always on the range, and ALWAYS with ear and eye protection!.. |
