The Fail Safe delivers unique bullet expansion, deep penetration and consistent performance. Ballistic Silvertips combines proven Nosler Ballistic Tips with a patented Winchester Lubalox coating for the ultimate in extreme range performance. The Accubond CT is a polycarbonate tipped bullet with a heavy tapered jacket bonded to a lead alloy core for controlled expansion and high weight retention. While deer hunting in the hill country, I put down a very nice whitetail, one shot one kill. But the most interestng part of this hunt was the number this round did on this deer @ 200 yards. The round took out both shoulders, no heart was found at all and the deer did a 360 degree flip and landed on its chest. No movement upon landing. The deer was dead before it the ground.
This round will put down so very large hogs also. This year I will be going for Mule Deer.

This is a hard hitting, fast and very accurate round. I shot flat, tight groups at 100 and 200 yards from a cold Browning X-Bolt. I would recommend this for any North American game. For dangerous game I prefer the 220 gr. round which shoots just as well. Winchester designers did a great job in developing the .325 WSM! Steve McLaughlin, East Wenatchee, WA... |
