Touches like a rounded fore-end tip and intricate, point-style checkering retain the classic look of the hunting rifle. Like other X-Bolt 2 models, this stock has a trim, nimble feel that is fast to the shoulder. A 1-1/4" Inflex recoil pad reduces the impact of felt recoil.
The stainless steel action resists corrosion and looks sharp with the polished gray finish enhanced by engraving. The spiral fluted bolt assembly is polished to a sheen. Low profile bottom metal ensures the focus is on the stock and raises the bar of elegance.
Focusing on performance, X-Bolt 2 Hunter is an ideal blend of tradition and design that will satisfy the accuracy needs of shooters. A stainless steel sporter contour barrel keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The action is bedded, and the octagon barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.
Functionally, the action has been redesigned with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling. The spiral fluted bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with a bolt handle and bolt knob with high polish finish.
