The pistol incorporates a lightweight aluminum receiver paired with a polymer grip frame and G10 grip panels, offering a balance of durability and reduced overall weight. The Mark IV series utilizes Ruger’s one-button takedown system, enabling the barrel and receiver assembly to separate from the grip frame for simplified field stripping and maintenance. Additional features include a fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a factory-installed Picatinny rail for mounting optics.
