Deputy features a transfer bar safety mechanism, making it safe to carry with a round under the hammer. The Deputy Dual Cylinder is chambered in .357 Magnum and includes an additional 9mm cylinder, both with a six-round capacity. The interchangeable cylinder system allows shooters to easily transition between calibers, effectively providing three caliber options in a single revolver: .357 Magnum, .38 Special, and 9mm.
