Chambered in the highly efficient 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC), the Range CS bridges the gap between Weatherby’s legendary ballistic heritage and the absolute pinnacle of contemporary rifle architecture.
o ensure match-grade accuracy without the punishing weight of a traditional steel target barrel, the Range CS is outfitted with a 22-inch BSF Carbon Fiber barrel. This advanced barrel utilizes a specialized manufacturing process where a match-grade stainless steel liner is jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve. The unique spiral-fluted design under the sleeve creates air gaps that dramatically accelerate heat dissipation, maintaining point-of-impact consistency during extended strings of fire while providing incredible structural rigidity.
A precision rifle is only as good as its trigger. The Model 307 comes standard with a TriggerTech adjustable trigger. Utilizing patented Frictionless Release Technology, this system provides a true zero-creep break, a short reset, and extremely consistent pull weights. The trigger mechanism can be externally adjusted down to a crisp 2.5 lbs. Built with corrosion-resistant stainless steel components, it ensures tactile predictability and precision shot placement even in freezing or debris-heavy environments.
