Zoli "Classic Revolution"
"Classic Revolution" is the name of a challenging, rigorous and uncompromised project ZOLI embraced a few years ago. Through its "Classic Revolution" ZOLI entered the new millennium with a better image and a stronger presence on all international markets.
Locking System
All guns are equipped with a particularly robust locking system. This consists of a split locking bolt that mates accurately with the locking lugs of the monoblock. The central position of the locking system compared to the monoblock axis ensures maximum tightness. Such a design requires the employment of spark erosion [EDM machining] techniques that allow extremely close tolerances. When shooting, the joint between barrel and action is maintained over a long period due to the axis pins being positioned in the lower part of the barrel itself and the bottom lug engaging with the action body.
Monolock
The action, trigger plate and monoblock form the foundation of the gun. Such components are all made using forged alloy steel. Amongst these components, the new solid action is the most important and innovative. Because the trigger plate mechanism is completely independent from the action, it does not sustain the stress and strain that could affect the adjustment of the firing mechanism. High adjustment standards are therefore guaranteed even under prolonged heavy use. The detachable trigger mechanism also facilitates easy maintenance.
Zoli percussion system
Zoli's percussion system has been designed to the highest safety standards that technology can offer. The firing pin is guided by a specially made bushing that ensures its perfect operation. The bushing is also provided with vent holes, to allow any gas produced by the accidental perforation of the cartridge percussion cap to escape, without damage to the gun or injury to the user.

It took our technical designers and engineers a long time, great passion and total dedication to design our new Kronos O/U shotgun. They knew that nothing could be second class and left to chance in a gun meant for competition. Every small part had to be designed and studied carefully, checked and double-checked. The Kronos had to set new standards in terms of performance, reliability, wear, comfort, ergonomics and looks. We are indeed very happy with the results as our new gun has become the perfect synthesis of balance, excellent mechanical features and flawless performance. The Kronos comes with an action made from a solid piece of forged steel, a detachable trigger group, a Boss-type locking system and complete stock interchangeability. The most prestigious British guns, particularly the "Boss", were our source of inspiration when we designed our low profile action and trigger which is not only nice, but also extremely functional and ergonomic. Combined with the lines and dimensions of our stock, the line of the trigger make the Kronos a very comfortable gun to mount, shoot and control. But the real strength of our new competition gun lies in its barrels.

When building barrels in house, ZOLI only uses top quality materials and follows extremely precise production cycles under continuous skilled craftsmen's supervision. Tolerances are very tight and there is no room for mistakes. The Kronos comes in Trap, Sporting, Skeet and Elise versions with either black or silver receiver. The Kronos comes with the best ZOLI barrels which enhance ammunition performance, generate perfect shot patterns and limit the recoil to the absolute minimum ever experienced in competition guns so far. As a result the gun is overall very stable but swift and a winner in competitions. The Sporting and Skeet versions come with interchangeable choke tubes while the Olympic Trap and Universal Trap versions come with fixed chokes. The trigger group can be quickly removed from the solid action using a small wrench supplied with the gun. The trigger group is easy to replace and service when needed and the trigger pulls are easy to maintain. ZOLI shotguns come with either flush choke tubes called Flush-ZoliChokes, or extended choke tubes known as Extended-ZoliChokes. For available dimensions see table in the accessory section.

Z-Sport

The workhorse of the Z Series is the Z Sport which offers all the technical feature and improvements of the new Z line. Clean, essential and simply decorated with chain border, Z Gun logo in gold relief on action sides and back and non-glare stippled top, the Z Sport is offered in sporting clays, skeet and trap configurations and comes with extra sets of interchangeable barrels on request.

Z-Extra

Featuring the same trigger mechanism as the Z Sport, the extra grade offers almost full coverage deep scroll engraving with flower badges. The Z Gun logo inlaid in gold on both action sides stands out very nicely on the french gray finish. All configurations are available from sporting to trap.

Z-Ambassador

The AMBASSADOR EL is the flagship of our Z Series offering the ultimate in hand finishing. The EL features a fully hand shaped frame and fences joined to a stock of exhibition Turkish walnut. Fences are fully hand engraved with deep scroll and game scenes and finished in French gray. Gold inlays in the game scenes are available on request. Stocks are finely hand checkered and finished in hand rubbed-oil. The Ambassador comes with stock and barrel socks in an elegant motor case.

The Columbus field O/U shotgun is another product resulted from the "Classic Revolution" ZOLI embraced at the turn of the century to completely renew its offer. The shotgun has been totally upgraded from a technical and cosmetic standpoint. Now it comes with technical features which used to be found only on high grade guns manufactured in small volumes such as solid action, detachable trigger group, Boss-type locking system and silver soldered barrels which capitalize on 50 years of experience and set new ballistic standards. Cosmetically the shotgun competes with the best hunting guns on the market thanks to its refined engraving, stock in select walnut, fine checkering, wooden butt plate and compact dimensions.

The trigger group can be quickly removed from the solid action using a small wrench supplied with the gun. The trigger group is easy to replace and service when needed. Every side of the Columbus action features elegant game scene engraving. The "Columbus" comes with a pheasant in flight engraved on the bottom while flying partridges and ducks embellish the sides. In the "Columbus Gold" the scenes are the same as the Columbus, but in gold. The "Columbus Light-Comfort" comes with 80% coverage of fine English scroll.

Z-Expedition

Ready for world travel or the local quail field, the Expedition offers exquisite full coverage deep scroll engraving framing gold game scenes in deep relief (partridge on one side and woodcock on the other) and a french gray finish. Stocks are of grade 2.75 fancy turkish walnut with fine cut checkering and hand rubbed oil finish. butt plates are finely checkered. either english grip or pow stocks are available. Trigger mechanism and chokes are specially titanium nitrite treated and impervious to rust and corrosion. Every Z Expedition comes with five choke tubes and special hard case with all tools and spare parts kit.
