Description
KEL-TEC CNC INDUSTRIES Model SUB-2000 Semi Automatic Rifle Kel-Tec 10 + 1 40 S&W Semi-Automatic w/Glock 22 Mag/Blue Barrel & Polymer S The SUB-2000 is a self-loading carbine for pistol cartridges. The SUB-2000 has a greatly enhanced accuracy and extended range compared to a handgun. The superior precision is also very useful against small or partially covered targets at shorter range. The amount of training to master the SUB-2000 is only a fraction of that required for a handgun. The SUB RIFLE-2000 has been developed from our highly successful SUB-9 rifle. Although retaining some features of the old rifle, the SUB-2000 is a completely new design. Emphasis has been put on consumer safety, but without impeding the performance. Polymers are used to a large extent, resulting in increased durability and reduced price. This Sub-2000 Rifle is designed to accept Glock 22 Magazines The bolt can be locked in the rear position by the operating handle. The main safety is of protected push bolt type disconnecting the trigger bar and interlocking the hammer and sear. By rotating the barrel upwards and back, the SUB-2000 can be reduced to a size of 16" x 7" to facilitate secure storage and utilize the internal deployment lock which is operated by a proprietary key. The rear sight is of aperture type and the fluorescent front sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation. The SUB-2000 can easily be disassembled for cleaning or inspection without tools. After adjusting the sights on this, I am shooting 1 inch groups at 25 yards on the bench. ( all 5 rounds in each group touch, dead center.)
only 2 Jams in approx 400 plus rounds which I think were due to rounds not seated in the mag properly.
50 yards are all 3-4 inch groups.
Sights take some getting used to.
Cheek weld is weird, and you will feel it after 40-50 rounds.

This firearm is very \"user\" friendly. The way it folds up is really nice and compact. All the people at the range think I\'m carrying a pistol, not a rifle. And it is accurate right out of the box. Great gun for the money... |

this weapon i keep in my crash and grab bag. It is almost indestructable. During Katrina it was easily carrying, 15 accurate rounds out to 100 yards, large muzzle flash. This weapon kept looters off my property abd that of my surrounding neighbors... |
