I took the rifle to my range and fired a box of ammo from two different companies (165gr and 168 gr) using two different make magazines. There were no malfunctions and the bolt stayed open after the last shot... |

I received my R-25 (.308) in early June. In the first box at my range the bolt closed on an empty chamber 4 times and jammed trying to load a round 3 times. It would also not consistently lock the bolt back after the last round was fired. I contacted Remington and they sent me a return label to the factory and insurance coverage. I\'m not a gunsmith, but it seems the recoil spring is not sufficient to consistently cycle the rifle... |

T.V. UPDATE:: Recd rifle back from Rem/DPMS/Panther Arms, after another month & 200$$plus expense for shipping & ammo expended. Appears to be fixed, fired 20 rnds no jams, no misfeeds. I did not like their attiutude. When I sent digital photos of jammed rnd in rifle they decided to fix it. I would not recommend this product... |
