Description
CCI/SPEER GOLDOT HANDGUN CENTERFIRE AMMUNTION A patented process forms the hollow point cavity in two stages. The core is pre-fluted to define the "fault" lines of expansion, controlling final diameter and retained weight. The second process finishes the cavity and controls the rate of expansion. Select, clean burning propellants deliver optimum velocity while ensuring consistent chamber pressures. Non corrosive CCI primers are used for highly sensitive and reliable performance, as well as nickel plated brass cases for smooth feeding and durability. These technical features allow Speer's engineers to fine tune each specific caliber and bullet weight for maximum field performance. SPECIFICATIONS:

I went to the range today with a box of this ammo and a box of the Federal 100 gr soft point ammo. Both were very accurate and hit where the fixed sights were set on my Taurus 327 with 3" barrel. Whether it is the gun, caliber, or both, I can get significantly tighter groups with the 327 than my 357's. I had difficulty extracting empty cases from my revolver with the Federal 100gr ammunition, but when I then switched to this CCI GDHP, the problem went away, for whatever that is worth. I plan on my Taurus 327 replacing my 357 as my concealed carry weapon and I plan on loading it with this round. I feel as if I am gaining an extra round, a little less recoil, and a bit of accuracy to boot. I suspect that I am giving up little to nothing in performance. I found both felt recoil and point of impact to be the same with this round and the cheaper Federal 100 gr. softpoint... |

I have shot this round with a very high level of accuracy. My grandchildren also shot well with this load. The precieved recoil from a light weight Taurus model 85 type revolver is easy and accurate with this load from my 10 year old granddaughter to my self at 50+ and over 250lbs... |
