The picture of this gun has been changed to a picture of an actual Millenium PRO. For the longest time it was a pic of a millenium. Glad to see it has been straightend out... |

I own a Taurus PT-140 Millennium Pro. Other than trying to identify a pro from the original by the grip, the pro says "Pro" right on it. Mine says PT140PRO on the right hand side of the slide next to the muzzle with the word Millennium down the left hand side. My brother also has one with a stainless slide that is slightly older than mine. His says "Millennium Pro" all in one place. Mine is a .40 cal and my brother's is a .45 cal. Both came as 10+1 capacities with both magazines having the pinky grip because of the larger diameter of the casing and bullet than the 9mm. The .45 has a slightly fatter grip but it is hard to tell if you are not looking for it. We have both had excellent luck with them, without a single jam between us yet. We are both meticulous with the maintenance of our guns, which probably has something to do with it. This is my daily carry weapon and I use Hornady .40 S&W 155 grain TAP FPD's. For cheap target rounds I haven't found a round it won't fire well. They are right at supersonic, so my gun in slightly louder than my brother's .45. It is also slightly more accurate, with less recoil. Due to the speed, it doesn't have a lot of recoil but it does have some muzzle jump. I have spoken to Magnum Pport International and they said they could reduce the muzzle jump by 50% and the recoil by 15% for $140 plus shipping without any change in the performance of the gun because the bullet is already gone when it vents the gases. I am seriously considering doing this if I am able to purchase another slide and barrel from Taurus first. It would help tremendously with follow-up shots... |

The reason I said that the barrel is really about 2.5 inches and not 3.25 is because I measure from where the bullet starts from, to the end of the barrel. The 3.25 inches listed is measuring from the feed ramp to the end of the barrel. Not really a true measurement in my book... |
